ABOUT ME

I would just like to take this opportunity to tell you a little more about my personal life and my background

I grew up with my mom and dad and two brothers one older and one younger and my grandparents in a town called Dudley in the West Midlands.

I spent a lot of time with my nan and grandad, it was almost every weekend and school holiday and any chance I got in between. To me, I had two homes and I feel extremely lucky to have had that.

My homes were always filled with pets and this is where my love for animals stemmed from. My mom filled our family home with pets and love, it was like growing up in Noah’s ark and I loved it.

My grandads house was just the same, they always had a family dog or three! As I got older I really did feel a connection with the dogs, cats and rabbits we had; I knew from an early age that they could understand us on some level.

I have some really special memories with the pets I have grown up with over the year and I feel they deserve a mention (although I will not list them all). Snowflake – my first cat, Tiger – My moms first baby (her cat) Max our first dog, Jess our family dog who was with us for a least 20 years! Dex, Zara and Zoe – My grandads Dobermans. Spud and Wendy my first guinea pigs. Zara our Rottweiler (she played a huge part in me learning to understand and trust big dogs. All of Tristan’s cats, they are such fun characters and last but not least my little Scamp – a little Bichon Friese, who stayed with my nan and grandad when I moved but who now lives with my Auntie since they have both now passed to spirit.

I spent a lot of time in nature with my grandad, we were always on some adventure together, walking the dogs, riding my bike and just being out enjoying nature, he loved that and so did I. He was extremally creative as well and this is who I get my flare from, he encouraged me to draw from such an early age. I moved in with my nan and grandad when I was 16 until I got married.

I am very grateful to have had such a lovely childhood upbringing. I went to mainstream primary and secondary school – but I found academic learning quite a challenge for many years. I was born with Cerebral Palsy. This had is physical complications for me as well as mental and learning challenges. But despite this challenge, I have never let it stop me. It has not been all plain sailing – my mom passed to spirit when I was 11 and this ripped a massive hole in our lives. It is only in the last couple of years I have been able to come to terms with this and start the healing process.

I am now an adult (well sometimes), living a fairly independent life with my husband and two house rabbits Luna and Willow, in the beautiful location of Cornwall.

I met Tristan was I was 16, we had a long-distance relationship for many years, but I would travel down to Cornwall at every opportunity I got. I was studying an AAT Accounting Qualification and I become a qualified member of the Association of Accounting Technicians. I no longer practice accountancy as a day job, but it played a very important part in my self-discovery.

Me and Tristan got married in 2017 and this is when I finally made the move to Cornwall on a permanent basis. I moved in with him and his parents seven Ragdoll cats (yes, I said seven!) and their four horses until we got a little place of our own and that is when we got our little Willow and Luna.

I am currently working a part-time day job (customer service) but I also work for myself I made the decision towards the end of 2018 to take my art full time, giving me time to focus on my commissions and to build on my skills as a photo-realistic graphite and coloured pencil artist. – more about My Artistic Journey here.

In 2018 I went through one of the toughest periods of my life. I had three people I cared deeply for passed over into spirit within weeks of each other. I was in my “dream” job – which turned out to be nothing like I expected. As stated above after these events I decided to quit my day job in accounts and focused on building a career in art – to which I have done.

It was during this time I also found my faith and gifts as a psychic medium!

Today I continue to create and inspire the people around me with not just my art but also with my spiritual gifts. I am a qualified teacher in psychic mediumship where I offer courses and workshops.

I will keep you all up to date on my journey and any new and upcoming this on the Lastest news section of my website!

Thank you for taking the time to read my story.

Blessings,

Chelsea
